Spectatorship
Spectatorship: Spectatorship theory is how individuals consume, engage and respond to a film and the factors that influence this response. Spectatorship also explores how the film evokes different responses from individuals and what factors effect their response. What are the factors which affect how spectators respond to the films they see: There are many different ways in which spectators respond to the films they see. There are also many factors which can effect their responses. Some examples of factors that effect responses are the way in which the spectator views the film. Such as if the film is viewed at the cinema it may allow the audience member to react differently to that if they were at home by their self consuming it.
